Virtual activities planned for Mental Health Matters Month – Red Bluff Daily News

May is Mental Health Matters Month and several events are being held by Tehama County Health Services Agency’s Behavioral Health to celebrate and share information.

Virtual drumming will be held May 12-15 and 18-19. You don’t need to own a drum or have musical talent, all you need is to take part.

The activity is a good distraction, promotes overall wellness, relaxation and emotional release and is a fun way to integrate mind, body and spirit.

Visit https://www.tehamacohealthservices.net/events/ any time to find out more.

Cherish Padro shares her powerful story of recovery with “Brave Faces,” at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLmcogJH7fQ&t=5s. Prepare to be empowered and inspired.

Speak our Mind is available at https://youtu.be/kwC2scVn2xQ. Listen to survivors share about recovery and overcoming obstacles.

Drive by Grocery Outlet in Red Bluff 10-11 a.m. May 22 to pick up a free COVID-19 coping toolkit. The free kits will provide tools to help thrive during difficult times. Only 300 kits will be available.
