The state health department confirmed another 1,013 coronavirus cases Saturday, bringing Michigan to 883,202 total cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
Another 86 COVID-19 deaths were also reported Saturday as part of 99 deaths that were identified through the state health department’s regular review of previous death certificates. This increases Michigan’s death toll to 18,939.

Of 29,989 diagnostic tests reported Friday, 1,571 yielded positive results — a positivity rate of 5.24%.
Included in Saturday’s report were 103,233 probable cases and 1,201 probable deaths, for a total of 986,435 cases and 20,140 deaths.
